Ich habe gerade die neue U2-Single gehört. Sie kam per Post und ich hatte nicht mit ihr gerechnet. Sie hört auf den Namen "Get On Your Boots" und wird am 15. Februar als Download sowie am 16. Februar in den Läden zu kriegen sein. Als Vorbote des neuen U2-Albums "No Line On The Horizon", das am 2.März kommt und folgende Tracks enthalten wird:

Ach so, Ihr wolltet eigentlich nur wissen, wie die neue U2-Single so ist? Keine Ahnung, ich bin da mal widder total überfragt. Bin vielleicht zu nah dran. Ich sag's mal mit Sinead O'Connor: "Feel So Different". Nur soviel: Klingt schon so ähnlich wie "Vertigo" oder geht zumindest in die Richtung und - entgegen aller Prognosen der drei Produzenten - klingt die neue Single natürlich total wie U2. Sonst müsste man halt jemand anderes singen lassen. Sehr rockig, geht gut nach vorne, das Ding und wird unaufhaltsam von einer sehr dominanten Bass-Line angeschoben. Hm, nach dem dritten Mal hören kommt gezz auch bei mir im emotionalen Zentrum so langsam was an. Scheint zu wachsen, der Song.
